How To Create A Balanced Life: 6 Self-Care Apps

Updated: Apr 15, 2021

Taking care of yourself is an essential part of life to not become burned out. Since the majority of us can not go outside during this pandemic to go do our usual self-care things for example going to a therapist or going on a run. Here are 6 free self-care apps to use at home.

1. Sayana

This app is my personal favorite, it helps to resolve certain mental health issues for example, overcoming negative thinking or reducing anxiety. This app puts you in certain group chats everyday with people depending on your goal or your mood for that day. The app also provides useful tips to help reach your goals.

2. Aloe bud

This app is a self-care pocket companion that gives daily reminders on whatever you customize it to, for example to take your vitamins or to drink more water.

This app takes a more unique approach then a usual self-care app.

Typically self-care apps have you reflect on what you did throughout the day which is fantastic, however on this app you can do an assortment of daily tasks in your own little room on the app and also play calming games on the app.

4. Affirmations

If you haven’t already guessed by the title of the app, yes this app gives Positive Affirmations. Once a day it’ll give you a positive affirmation and you can skip it if you would prefer a different affirmation!

5. Tide

Tide is an app with relaxing sounds to help you fall asleep and the app also has meditations. If you are on the go a lot, this is a great app because it has shorter meditations that only last 1 or 3 minutes.

6. Stoic.

This app helps with stress but also sprinkles in some quotes. On this app you begin by answering daily questions in the morning and at night to reflect on your day. There are also a variety or exercises on the app from meditating to journaling.
