Everyone goes through rough patches in life, and sometimes we just need a day to ourselves. Here are a few ways to have a luminous self-care day.
1. Hair or Face Mask
One way to have an amazing self care day is a hair mask or a face mask. You can go out and purchase one but if not, there are tons of masks you can make with ingredients at home just look up “At home face and hair masks.”

2. Find a hobby
Self-care isn’t always what people would think. Lots of people think self-care days are just spa days. While that could be part of it, ultimately finding something you love can make a day a lot more enjoyable.
So go find something you're passionate about !!!
3. Unplug from technology
Unplugging from technology is always important. Reading a book can take your mind off of things for a while. Coloring is also another thing you can do while unplugging if you're not a big reader.

4. Meditate
Meditating can help you find inner peace with yourself. It can help you deal with your emotions and become a more relaxed person overall. There are many resources online to find free meditations. My personal favorite app is tide.
5. Positive Affirmations
A Positive Affirmation is a phrase repeated to describe the outcome you want. For example “I am positive and creative."Positive affirmations are a great thing to do in general but especially on a self-care day to help you have a more positive perspective. Positive Affirmations help for a more positive mindset, if you repeat positive affirmations enough, your subconscious mind will start to pick up on it!
Try to repeat them everyday and see how much your mindset changes!!
