What Is Antisocial Personality Disorder?

The definition for antisocial personality disorder is “marked pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others”.


Symptoms


The symptoms vary of course as every symptom does but here are the main symptoms!!

-self centered

-lack empathy

-aggressive

-physical or substance abuse

-manipulative

-risky

-persistent lying

-charming

-repeatedly

-poor relationships

-breaking laws


How does it develop?


As with most disorders, there isn’t one clear cut answer but genetics and brain anatomy are the biggest factor in this specific disorder. Another factor is the environment around them that the person with the disorder did have abusive or neglectful parents growing up?


Can it be cured?


Yes it can most definitely be cured by a mixture of certain medications and cognitive or behavioral therapy!


How many people have it ?


About .2-3.3 percent of the population has it!

-they are all millionaires and super successful

-they avoid social interaction

-it’s not treatable

-they're always violent
