What Is Somatoform Disorder?


Somatoform disorders are a group of mental health disorders that cause certain physical bodily symptoms. An example of this disorder would be any big physical symptoms such as maybe shortness of breath or severe pain caused by a mental illness.


Why Does It Happen?


It happens because of sometimes genetics, severe amounts of stress, low amount of emotional awareness which makes you more focused on physical issues and learned behaviors.
